Namibiërs het vandag tou gestaan by die hawe op Walvisbaai om aan boord te gaan van die wêreld se grootste drywende boekwinkel, die Logos Hope.
Adj.pres. Nickey Iyambo het die skip se boekeskou amptelik geopen.
Logos Hope word bedryf deur Operasie Mobilisasie (OM) en is OM Ships International se grootste skip. Dit is in Februarie 2009 in gebruik geneem.
OM is 'n Christen-organisasie wat in 1963 deur George Verwer gestig is om jongmense te mobiliseer om die evangelie deur middel van literatuur te versprei.
Die Logos Hope het Vrydag haar anker in Namibiese waters laat sak en sal in die Walvisbaaise hawe wees tot 28 Julie wanneer dit na Gaboen sal vaar.
