Oncology centre upgrades health and safety
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is an important topic in the workplace.
In light of the above, the Namibian Oncology Centre (NOC) in Eros, Windhoek, signed a service level agreement with ATA International Namibia relating to Health & Safety Management Service.
The agreement was made to upgrade the existing Health & Safety standards to international standards. ATA International Namibia is a national and international accredited service. The NOC approached ATA International to look into the existing OHS of the Namibian Oncology Centre as their preferred service provider.
“ATA International offers a unique service and training combination. They customized the Health & Safety upgrade for our needs and to high standards,” said ms. Anthea van Wyk, Unit Manager of the NOC.
The contract includes upgrading of policies and procedures and training in Health & Safety, Industrial Fire Fighting and Evacuation Marshall.
“The Health & Safety Management Solution will assist any company individual in their needs and to comply with the Namibian labour act as well with international standards,” said Managing Member of ATA International Namibia, mr. Fabian Martens.
"An active OHS-program will increase the productivity of the company, as well as motivate employees, and decrease sick leave days."
