OWC’s celebrate museum’s progress
Old Wheelers continue to capture the imaginations of car lovers, both young and old.
The Old Wheelers Club held a Bonnets-Up event this past Saturday, 14 July, to celebrate the roof wetting of their new museum, which is in the process of being completed.
Once finished, the museum will play host to some of Namibia’s most beautiful and rare antique vehicles.
Throngs of enthusiasts made their way to the Old Wheeler's Clubhouse, to join in on the festivities.
Family Fun
The day was a buzz of activity, with members of the Old Wheelers Club getting the opportunity to mix and mingle with the public and share their love of classic cars, while enjoying a host of food, drinks and entertainment by the always entertaining Old Wheelers Roof-Fiddler
The public also had the opportunity to buy-a-brick, as a contribution to finishing the museum and stood the chance to win one of many exciting prizes, or even bring their own cars to the event, to show off their pride and joy.
Here’s a glimpse into this festivities.
