Podmol to astound at Standard Bank Auto Show

World champion freestyle rider to wow attendees.
For the first time in the history of the Standard Bank Auto Show, Freestyle Motocross World Champion Libor Podmol is scheduled to entertain attendees at the upcoming Auto Show and Biltongfees this year.
Podmol will be showcasing his gravity-defying and daredevil stunts during the two-day Standard Bank Auto Show/Biltongfees on 30 June and 1 July at the SKW Stadium.
“The Standard Bank Auto Show and Biltongfees is a wholesome event that can be enjoyed by the whole family. It caters to car lovers who simply want to revel in their beauty, for those who may be interested in purchasing vehicles, or lovers of Biltong who wish to stock up.
We have however always ensured that it caters for the whole family, which is why we are proud that Motocross World Champion Libor Podmol will wow attendees with his amazing stunts,” Standard Bank’s PR and communications manager, Surihe Gaomas-Guchu said.
The Czech-born motocross rider previously won the Vice-World Champion at the International Freestyle Motocross Ltd. (IFMXF) Championship from 2006 to 2008, before going on to win World Champion at the same tournament in 2010 in Brazil.
Although he started classic motocross racing when he was 13, Podmol began his freestyle career in 2002 and has gone on to become one of Europe’s top FMX riders. There are almost no flip combinations that Libor has not already tried at some stage of his long career. He has become renowned for his fearlessness in executing his stunts.
“I can assure all our prospective attendees that they will not be disappointed by Podmol’s performance during the Auto Show/Biltongfees. He is one of the best Freestyle Motocross riders out there and will give a show to be remembered,” Gaomas-Guchu stressed.
One of the other highlights of the Auto Show this year is that potential buyers can get their preapproval during the two-day event, or better yet, drive away with their dream cars.
“I am also proud to announce that we will have our entire Vehicle and Asset Finance (VAF) team at the show. This means you can get preapproval and if you so desire. You can walk away with your dream car, granted of course that you have the right documentation for the process. We are also offering up to prime less 1.75% on the interest rate, residual value offering of up to 25% and an annual insurance offering with a one-month holiday on credit life offering,” Gaomas-Guchu encouraged.
She stressed that the documents needed for one to get immediate preapproval are identity documents, driver’s license, proof of income, latest payslip, KYC document (water & electricity bill or rental agreement) and quotation of vehicle which you can get from the dealers at the show.
