PPS Knights reign supreme

PPS Knights were crowned the Spur T20 league and 5 over 8 a side champions on Saturday.

They defeated the Fuel Pump Repair Warriors (FPRW) in the T20 league with 5 wickets. They also defeated West Coast Aluminium in the 5 over 8 a side tournament. In the plate final, West Coast Aluminium was crowned the winners against the Namibia Radio Service Agency, by 80 runs.

Individuals were also awarded for their performances throughout the year. Junior top bowler was Addo Iita, Diego Fransman (social) and Mika Mutumbe (club), and girls' top bowler was Naomi Benjamin.

The junior top batsman was Kian Beyer and the girls’ top batswoman was Wilka Mwatile.

The junior all-rounders were Simon Shikongo, David Fortuin (social) and Matthew de Gouveia (club), and girls' all-rounder was Mwatile.

Junior fielders were Victor Nghitombwa, Luther Mostert (social) and Armand Lassen (club), and girls' fielder was Rusuvero Tjirera.

Junior players of the season were Iita, Fortuin (social) and Mwatile (club), and girls' player of the season was Naomi Benjamin.

Best team spirit went to FPRW.
