"Straf die wettiges . . . "
Mandy Rittmann

Mr. President and all politicians and officials, please read the article “No perks for Swedish MP’s on page 6 of Namibian, dated 26 July 2019. Now that is how to run a country, how the Swedish transformed an impoverished country into one of the richest, most socially just and least corrupt countries in the world. Take that as an example compared to how the luxury and power hungry government elite deprive our country of the peoples rights.

NWR and others. What stops you from opening your books to the taxpaying public and the ACC? Did you allocate funds for infrastructure upkeep? If not, what happened to your budget apart from salaries to inept management? This kind of performance is just another kind of corruption and and should be treated as such for the sake of every Namibian with a shred of pride in his/her country.

City Traffic Police, Frankie Frederick Street from Olympia swimming pool to the Grove Virgin Atlantic, Robert Mugabe Avenue from the Statehouse to the first traffic circle in Olympia, have become speedways where people are speeding terrible high speeds in excess of 130 km/h or more. Can everyone drive their own speeds now?

Kom glo eers in Augustus. Kan jy glo? Waar is die erns en oefenwedstryde?

U wat will concerned raak, kry bietjie perpektief. Lekker man, lekker. Wonder wat nou.

Traffic on Robert Mugabe at the traffic circle in Olympia are driving like idiots because in their small minds they do believe that they have right of way. If you bought your driving license and do not know how a traffic circle works, then please google it. Also have your eyesight tested because their is a 100 meter before the circle a speed limit of 40 and not 120 please. Traffic Police are sitting on their hinds and doing nothing about it.

Windhoek City Police, tell us, have all the stop signs been discontinued because no one is stopping anymore and everyone is just speeding through while busy texting. Is the traffic police sitting on their hinds or what?

- Jan Brand

Kan Katrina nie tronk toe gaan nie? Al is dit vir 2ure.

Why is it that mining licences have already been granted in adverts for public participation in environmental impact assessments? Surely common sense and the mining law says these studies must be done BEFORE granting licences? Or is this the govt's way of trying to fool the affected parties that govt cares what the people think when dishing out mining licences to their friends? Same with phosphate mining, got licence first and now mining company taking govt to court to clear EIA? Surely govt granting licences before EIA is illegal?

Ek is ’n enkelma van drie. Ek soek hulp met warm winterklere asseblief vir my kinders. Komberse sal ek ook oor dankbaar wees. – 081 267 6272
