"My hoof hang in skaamte..."
Mandy Rittmann

Baie dankie, mnr.

Was die week by Solitaire. Skaam my vir ons land Namibië!

I received a traffic fine and went to pay it on 24 August at the City of Windhoek Traffic Office near the fire brigade. I went lunch time, as this is the only time I can go from work. On my arrival I checked their working hours. It clearly stated 07:30 to 15:00, but there is nobody behind the counter. People in the back just told me to come back at 14:00. I want to know. We need to follow rules, but rules mean nothing to them. They work only until 15:00, which means they must work between 13:00 and 14:00 to accommodate us.

Mag so iets nooit weer gebeur nie.

It's only in Namibia that a minister like Himarwa, accused of corruption, still sits as a minister! Stupidity rules!

Johan Diergaardt is by far the best coach at the moment. The last four years Unam set the standard as far as club rugby in Namibia is concerned. Why was he never included in this so called HPP program that suddenly so important. This is a sudden invention to keep old white corrupt practices alive. Nel must go and coach in SA if he is good enough which I doubt. Why would the IRB approve Lynn Jones to coach Russia if he left Namibia a year before the World Cup if this HPP program is so important to them. Diergaardt is very succesfull business man. He can certainly afford to go to the World Cup with his own money. If white people jump the gravy train nobody say something, but if non-whites are included it suddenly becomes an issue as if we don't have money.

Hon Minister of Education please delink the School Counselor and Life Skills positions from the Education Qualification. We have highly qualified people in Namibia, even if they do not have teaching qualifications.

Oud-Namibiese speler. - Oud-Administrateur.

Verwysend na Concerned Group. Ja meneer of dame.

Poefies gaan spat. Lag.

Why are Geingob, Nujoma and Pohamba interfering/protecting Ondonga King? Why is the king hell-bent on not testifying? What do they want to hide? Nobody is above the law. Snake in the grass?

Why is the MD of NWR kicking against an investigation about her qualifications and S&T payments if she has nothing to hide or did nothing wrong? Investigation will prove her guilt or innocence, so why?

Government struggles to hire locals? Shortage of locals with required skills and experience? Does that not tell you that government, University of Namibia, is not delivering quality education and qualified students are unemployable? No experience? Did the government not publish the other day that private sector will be forced to employ inexperienced graduates so they can gain experience? So why does government shy away from this responsibility? Double standards, shame on you!

– Gochas
