". . .maar daar is nie geld. . ."
Mandy Rittmann
Hier is 'n slang in hierdie gras iewers (of dalk 'n duiker?).

SCC/Avid outcome: Where is the strong message, lesson learned in the sentencing? Only the jail sentence sends a message, the rest were just rapped over the knuckles with a fine? Which they pay with the stolen money? Why did they not have to pay back the millions? Who will pay the cost of the 13 years of investigations and postponement after postponement?

Fuel price increase: Why must the public pay and suffer because of the government's incompetence and stupid excuses? They never lowered the price for the public to benefit from the very low price of less than 50US$ per barrel. Again there were stupid excuses from the government for not lowering the fuel price for the public. Time for the public to stand together and vote for a new government. The public should also stand together and start to boicot certain fuel companies for a month long or so. It's our way as public to start hurting them back. Then you will see fuel prices dropping.

Ban on hunting photos: Well put Frederico Links, basically Shifeta says it is moral to hunt an animal, but it is immoral to post photos of such hunted dead animal and its killer on social media and it should be punished? The logic behind this boggles the mind!

Rundu family of five massacre (New Era): Police was notified twice about violence, but did nothing citing lack of transport yet after five members of a family were killed, 12 police cars were on the scene? Scandalous! No reports say police involved in the debacle could lose their jobs? They grossly failed their duties and should be prosecuted aiding the killings by doing nothing. The unbelievable incompetence and unwillingness to do their duty in the police force stinks to high heaven and should have legal consequences!

CoW will hopefully now be able to keep the Olympia swimming pool open seven days a week, with enough lifeguards, following their generous increase in fees.

60 Million vanishes from Zambezi Waterfront? Mr. Jooste, you promised to fix the rot but you're failing miserably. When is this horrendous state corruption going to be stopped, when are culprits going to jail and pay back the stolen monies? It just can't go on this way!

NaTIS: Can the CEO of NaTIS please get his feet off his desk and go check what the reason is why so many are failing their learner's license written exams constantly by 1 or 2%? Our results always come out with the same figure being either 78% or 79%. Is it because the examiner is too incompetent to use the marking template correctly by using it upside down or wrong way around?

NaTIS: Is it common and the norm of the day for examiners to be rude and impolite to us as the public coming for our driver's license test? Do they ever realise and know as public servants that we are paying their salaries and that they need to be respectful to us when we come for testing? Some of them are treating us as if we are their wives or dogs at home. The public must stand together and expose these culprits and get the head of NaTIS to do his job properly for what he is paid. The public must keep sending letters and SMSes of dissatisfaction with NaTIS to the editor. Hopefully we can get much better public service from these people.

Keetmanshoop-gemeenskap. So, wees wakker!

Is daar 'n begraafplaas by die Gateway Centre? Die NBC TV het nou aangekondig Otilie Abrahams “will be buried on Saturday at the Gateway Centre”.

Ek stem!
