Soon, and very soon

EUNICE ANN VAN ZYL WRITES:

Not all people in Namibia go to church but because all people are valuable to the Lord, they must be given an opportunity to know about salvation in Jesus Christ by other means.

The heading of the letter in Republikein, "Die Heilige Gees vroulik?" published on the 21st of June 2019 made me wonder how it came about that a person with such a view was allowed on Channel 7.

We are living in the time before the Lord Jesus Christ will return in what is known as the “rapture”.

It is my mandate from the Lord to speak about it. This is what I do because I am afraid not to.

I thank God that my husband and I are in total agreement regarding the message of the “second coming”. I recently gave a young couple a copy of my book about this. When I spoke to her afterwards, she asked what should be the most relevant question of our time: Why doesn’t the church speak more about the “second coming? What are we afraid of?

We as born-again believers are people who believe the truth of God’s Word. To us, He has given the assurance that He is always with us:

Matthew 28:20 - "And teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

The LGBT movement, has taken the world by storm. They are not afraid to speak out.

When did the gay phenomenon go from “hidden” to “pride”, and why?

Why are all the nations bowing under pressure?

While I was reflecting on this, the Holy Spirit brought to my remembrance Genesis 3:13 - "Then the Lord said to the woman 'What is this you have done?' "The woman said, 'The serpent deceived me and I ate.”

Here in lies the answer. The gay issue is an end-time sign.

The Lord Jesus Christ spoke about deception firstly when the disciples asked Him about “the sign of His coming and of the end of the age.”

Matthew 24:4 - “Watch out that no one deceives you”.

From the beginning of the Holy Bible we were alerted to the fact that Satan is the deceiver of mankind.

Even the Christian Church is making choices that speaks of deception.

How could the Dutch Reformed Church in neighbouring South Africa give gay preachers authority in the Church? The Church is not called to approve of what is biblically wrong.

We all know that God loves gay people, the same as people who are not gay. The Lord Jesus Christ went to heaven to prepare a place for us, but we must repent and turn to Him.

Becoming born again means we will go to heaven otherwise the awful place called hell awaits us. The choice is ours.

John 14:1 – 3 - "The Lord Jesus Christ speaks. Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God. Trust also in Me. In My Father’s house are many rooms, if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me, that you also may be where I am.”

I have an urgency in my spirit that I cannot shake.

“Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King”.

Revelation 22:20 - "He who testifies to these things says 'Yes I am coming soon.' Amen. Come, Lord Jesus."
