A proudly Namibian food delivery application is here to stay.
What started out as a Covid-19 initiative is now here to stay. The Tap A Meal application has seen various restaurants signing up as well as clients using its services more and more.
Estelle Petersen of Tap A Meal said: “Although everyone is happy to see restaurants filling up with patrons again, people are still ordering through the quick, easy and efficient app for their food deliveries. Which is great news and shows that Namibians are comfortable ordering and embracing technology to make their lives more convenient”.
According to Petersen, during lockdown, Tap A Meal assisted restaurants – ranging from Chinese and pizzerias to Indian and anything clients desired - to keep their doors open by delivering food.
With more than 5 000 people using the application in Windhoek, the app’s clientele is still growing.
The food delivery service has plans to extend business to the coast and other towns in Namibia.
With the pandemic still in our midst, the public can still order food from the comfort of their own homes. The app is available on iOS and Andriod.
