Steytler stars in Members Cup event

Last weekend Omeya Golf Club was the host to round two of the AfricaOnline Race to Omeya Members Cup.
With 108 players in the field and a course luscious green with rough up to hip height, the scores were still impressive.
Herman Steytler was victorious on the day with a superb 41 points. The next best was Tony Viljoen and Jaco Labuschagne both on 39 points. It was also nice to see Adri Pienaar cashing in on the prizes on 38 points, pipping Shaun Smith on the count-out.
The next round will be played on 22 April.
Tomorrow's action at the club features the annual Elite Consulting Namibia Individual Stableford, proudly sponsored by Trevor Colmer. This is an annual event and this year is the third time it will be hosted at Omeya Golf Club. Elite Consulting Namibia has put together fantastic prizes which has pulled quite an impressive field.
