Namibian athletes with disabilities won five medals on the opening day of the 2021 Toyota South African Sports Association for Physically Disabled (SASAPD) national championships.

In the mixed 100m T11, T12 and T13, athletes competed against each other and Namibian T13 athlete Johannes Nambala crossed the line first followed by T12 athlete Ndodomzi Ntutu from the Western Cape, then Namibia's T11 athlete Ananias Shikongo in third place, while Kwazulu Natal T12 athlete Lwandile Malawu came fourth.

In the Under-20 category, T46 athlete Bradley Murere won a gold medal in the 100m after running a time of 12.12 seconds. Martha Hitekalute, who competed in the T37 discus throw, missed out on a medal after finishing fourth with a throw of 15m.
