A Namibian cleaning service that is built on strong and values in order to deliver a quality service without posing any danger to their clients.

Established in April 2020 and operating in Windhoek, the cleaning company specialises in commercial and residential cleaning.
They use cleaning products that are environmentally friendly and do not pose any danger to their clients or cause damage to property.
With four years’ experience in the cleaning industry, chief executive officer Victor Simasiku says it is his passion.
“The reason I started Ivuya Cleaning Services was because I have always been passionate about doing business and being my own boss,” he says.
Ivuya Cleaning Services rests on two pillars: excellence and efficiency. When they have a cleaning job, they take it as their own place being cleaned and make sure to meet and exceed the client’s expectations.
With efficiency they amplify the value of time by completing cleaning tasks within the time frame agreed upon with a client.
Social media offer a large platform for businesses to advertise and market their services or products by reaching a wide customer base by just a press of a button.
“Since our business involves people, social media enable us to easily access a wide variety of clients including our target clients and reduce our advertising costs. We use social media to run ads, keep our clients and prospect clients informed about various services and packages,” he says.
One of the challenges the company has faced is acquiring and building a strong clientele as there are many other cleaning services in Namibia. But with their service delivery Ivuya Cleaning Services makes it a point to ask clients where they can improve on their service and what they can do differently.
With Covid-19 appearing they also added disinfection services to their list. “We disinfected various government schools within the Khomas Region such as Cosmos High School, Jan Jonker Afrikaner Secondary School and Khomas High School, to mention just a few.
“On the other hand, we have also received calls from big organisations like Coca-Cola to participate in the tendering of cleaning services although we weren’t successful we took this as an achievement as well as a learning curve,” he says.
Simasiku hopes to see Ivuya Cleaning Services in the next five years as the preferred cleaning company in Namibia, creating job opportunities. Success to him is when he gets a call from a happy client thanking him for the quality service that his company provides.
His advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is: “You should discover your passion, it will give you the strength and desire to keep pushing despite the challenges you will face. Buy a notebook and write all your long- or short-term goals as this will keep you on track. Like Nelson Mandela said, ‘It always seems impossible until it’s done’.”
