Thirsty price monster keep guzzling
Transport costs last month fuelled overall inflation in Namibia, which rose from 3.6% in October to 4.1%. In November 2020, overall inflation was 2.2%. The inflation rate for the operation of personal transport equipment, which includes the fuel price, accelerated from 13.6% in October to 16.2%. A year ago, the rate was -4.2%. In November 2020, a litre petrol at the coast cost N$11.65, while diesel sold for N$11.58 per litre.
