Next year''s fun event will be bigger and better with many more sponsors and entertainment. Participants can look forward to some exciting prizes. The organisers are excited by the enthusiasm of all stakeholders and look forward to host another entertaining Pick n Pay Rock n Run on Saturday 25 February at the Trustco United Sports Grounds.

Local talent, which include Brother''s Remedy and Lize Ehlers, will entertain participants along the 5 km and 10 km fun route as they make their way to the main stage for the entertainment by international artists.

The youngest participants and guests can look forward to meet LOLLOS and the rest of the guests will dance to the beat of music byMango Groove, Heuwels Fantasties and the latest music sensation -Refentse.

The focus of the event is mass participation and Namibians are invited to join in droves by joining families, friends, colleagues and clubs in this highly entertaining and healthy event.

Along the route they can look forward to Aqua Splash/Vigo water points, foam spray, colour powder and giant inflatables to make the event more than just a fun run.

Radiowave will man a watering hole and Monster will ensure their energy drink awakens the “monster'''' in participants to provide tons of energy necessary for an enjoyable day out and about. At the venue and sports grounds, visitors and participants can enjoy a variety of food items from the Pick n Pay Food Village, or perhaps enjoy a drink at the Windhoek Draught Beer Garden or the Brampton Wines ladies'' wine bar and cocktail area.

Feel the vibe as DJ Rudi''s music hits the airwaves with sokkie music in the dance arena and meet some of our gorgeous promotion girls.

Young visitors are also catered for and their safety is a priority – the young ones can get rid of all their excess energy in the Bakers Kids Area at the main stage. Feeling inspired yet? Then get your ensemble for the day ready and challenge your friends and teammates to join in the fun of “dressing up” and taking part in the BEST DRESSED COMPETITION with loads of prizes sponsored by FNB. We dare you!!

Pick n Pay Rock n Run would like to make a generous donation of N$10 per ticket sold to the Cancer Association of Namibia to assist with their awareness campaign and community service.
