Total body care at Dikaios

AFTER a move earlier this year to it’s new state of the art facilities and investing more than N$2 million in infrastructure, Dikaios Multiwell & Slimming Salon is perfectly geared to offer clients the best in top to toe treatments. Basically body care is like dental care – if you don’t brush your teeth every day, things are going to slip.” The Dikaios Multiwell & Slimming Salon is the fi rst of its kind in Namibia and revolves around total wellness. It is based on the same Willa Krause system developed in South Africa, which inclu des a total solution in the fi ght against cel lulite.

Contrary to the traditional slimming salon, offering mostly individual slimming machines, this salon offers products and treatments ranging from technologically determined physical data of the client, customized diet programs and supplementary dieting aids, to reducing different stages of cellulite using world renowned therapy from France, including revolu tionary ultra-sound, pressure therapy, vacuum therapy and myo- and lipo-stimulation.

The tailor made slimming treatment at Dikaios begins with the Ohmniscan device that measures data such as your lean mass, fat mass, water balance, meta bolism and body mass index. This is used for the initial assessment and for monito ring treatment. Regular checks allow fat loss to be monitored and the results used as a highly motivational tool.

Once completed, the fight against cellu lite and fat begins, making use of ultra sound, pressure therapy and lymph drai nage.

• Break down the fat: To loose fat, it needs to be broken down. Low-frequen cy ultrasound has the ability to penetrate into the hypodermis where the fatty deposits are stored. It creates per meability, causing the fat cells to liquify.

• Drain the fat: Once liquified, the fat needs to be drained to the lymph nodes from where secondary energy will be available to the body. Vaccum therapy treats hard to move excess fat and will manipulate the shape of fat cells, so improving the appearance thereof. This treatment is an effective way of ridding the body of excess fl uid while helping to drain the lymph system.

• Burn the fat: Once liquifi ed, fat that is not burned within 24 hours after drainage will harden and reinstate itself. By means of electro stimulation, body remodelling, physical preparation and muscular training, the body will use the fat as energy and so ensure a toned body. Combined, these steps offer lasting results.
