Tradehold abandons planned NSX listing
Property investment company Tradehold has abandoned plans to list on the Namibian Stock Exchange (NSX), it said yesterday.
The company, whose chairman is South African business magnate Christo Wiese, had said in November that it was in talks that could lead to the listing of its Namibian assets by the end of the 2018 financial year, Reuters reports.
According to Financial Mail, Tradehold’s Namibian property business owns assets worth more than N$700 million in Windhoek, Walvis Bay and Rundu.
The paper reported last year that Tradehold has several other projects under construction in Windhoek in conjunction with Safland, its Namibian development partner. – Nampa/Reuters and Financial Mail
