"Tololi" means "trolley" in Oshiwambo. Tololi is an online store that accommodates all of your import needs. Clients can either purchase products directly on their online store (www.tololishop.com), or clients can WhatsApp +264 81 412 5726 with pictures of the products that they would like.

Tololi is an online business client request for goods they can't find locally, or alternatively, clients can order goods straight from their website (www.tololishop.com). From your favourite wine to getting your groceries to buying your favourite piece of clothing, shoes, jewellery all you have to do is name it and they can ship it. Currently, Tololi offers individuals and businesses four tiers of shipping: premium express shipping (7-14 days), standard shipping (30-60 days), full container shipping (30-45 days), shared container shipping (60-90 days). Each tier has its respective rate and customers may choose which shipping method fits their budget the best. Once products arrive in Namibia, they are quality-checked, packaged and delivered straight to the customer's door. On Tololi online purchases are made by individual clients as young as 13 years old and sometimes older than 50 years old (both male and female) and at times orders from rather large businesses like architecture firms and healthcare groups. There has been a recent increase in orders from local SMEs as well.

Tololi will launch "The Bucket" this year. The Bucket is Tololi Namibia's branch for goods in stock that are ready for same-day delivery.

Tololi Online started in July 2019. At the time, Tololi only had an Instagram page that they would sell from. Instagram proved to be quite inconvenient, because clients would be under the impression that they only offer the goods posted on the Instagram page. It wasn't until the end of March 2020 that they launched their website. It was during this time that the Covid-19 lockdown was announced, and that proved to be both beneficial and daunting throughout the rest of 2020.

The founder of Tololi is Fillemon Laxulapo Muunda Nangolo. He is 27 years old and a first-year marketing student at NUST. Nangolo is also currently the marketing manager for Marigold Hotel and @Helmsman Group Housing. Tololi Online is Nangolo’s third business venture, and the first to successfully launch.

“We created this service to provide our local Namibian market with a direct portal to suppliers abroad. I believe it was an already existing concept, but we noticed that this service had not been commercialised yet. So, we took that opportunity,” Nangolo says.

“For the aspiring youth: behind every great picture is an even greater struggle. Don't ever let the struggle stop you,” he adds.
