WGCC Welcome Back Bash a massive success

The Windhoek Golf and Country Club had their annual Welcome Back Bash last Saturday, sponsored by Satguru Travels & Tourism in association with Air Namibia.
Satguru Traveling, an international traveling agency, entered the Namibian market in 2016 and has taken the market by storm. They have also confirmed their continued support for Windhoek Golf and Country Club.
With the course in great condition after recent rains, 94 players contested in a betterball stableford format for the grand prize of return tickets from Windhoek to Cape Town.
There were also several other sponsors offering prizes such as Werner Golfing, Garnish Restaurant, Klein Windhoek Guesthouse, Gustav Fransmann, Windhoek Lager and Chez Wou Restaurant.
With the course playing extremely difficult, it became an absolute dogfight at the top of the leader board with Joe Nawanga and George Gariseb emerging as the eventual winners on a count-out on 46 points.
