WGCC's Dulux Series teams determined

The Windhoek Golf & Country Club hosted the second and final Dulux sponsored betterball stableford competition over the past weekend. Dulux is sponsoring the event at clubs countrywide, which will culminate in a final on 19 October at Omeya.
Thirty teams of mostly Country Club members participated in the competition with a total number of 60 players. Two Dulux teams are included in the numbers.
The top results for the second round of the Dulux Series were as follows:
1 Joseph Martin and Bertus Damon, 47 (winners on count-out)
2 John Horne and Desmond van der Merwe, 47
3 Schalk Engelbrecht and Willie Triegaardt, 42 (winners on count-out)
The sponsor announced that the best ten teams over the two rounds will go through the final at Omeya on 19 October. The teams representing the Windhoek Country Club are as follows:

2 John Horne and Desmond van der Merwe, 87
3 Paul Adkins and Melt van Schoor, 87
4 Gustav Jung and George Vink, 85
5 Ian Wood and Max Schäfer, 83

7 Toady Gurirab and Armand Smit, 82
8 Gustav Fransman and Trevor Mills, 80
9 Mike van Vuuren and Inklaus Suze, 79
10 Wessel Louw and Natasha Louw, 79
Four lucky draw prizes were sponsored by Truck & Cab (Paul Adkins).
The club captain, Gustav Jung, thanked all participants for their support.
• The STAG (Society for Tuesday and Thursday Afternoon Golfers) Betterball Scramble Drive competition sponsored by NamibRe has been moved to 19 May due to a larger than expected NALGU Namibian Open field which is also taking place this weekend.
Eleven ladies from Botswana have entered to enhance the profile of the Namibia Amateur Ladies Golf Union (NALGU)'s Namibian Open tomorrow and Sunday. Nashua and Windhoek Lager are sponsors of the event.
The tee-off times tomorrow from the first tee are:
