Soet ekwivalente vir wanneer jy nie die f-woord mag gebruik nie: Genugtig, genade, gedorie, maskas, (alla)mapstieks, heita, heitou, hierts, so wrintie, wraggies, wragtie, gits, goeiste, blikemmer, blikskottel, blikskater, hene, jinne, jitte, grote griet, sowaar, nou toe nou, nè! Groete. - M@rOlize
Composition of the Ancestral Land Commission:
In the very first instance I have a serious problem with the size and representation on the Commission. I am in awe how effective and efficient such a huge Commission could be, leave alone the costs involved for the period of a year.
Everything surrounding that Commission is politically motivated. If you look at the Terms of Reference, why should they have been given a year to complete their task? Is it because this is an election year?
I would have loved to see representatives from Hoachanas, Gibeon, Warmbad, Berseba and Blouwes etc. I understand they are not there, because they are not comrades, not the equates of the President and even not known to him.
I can tell you now already what the outcome of the findings of that Commission will be. It will not yield the desired results, because the Government's stance is there is no question about ancestral land and nobody lost ancestral land etc.
The people who are appointed on that Commission are those who spoke in favour of the Government during the 2nd National Land Conference in Windhoek towards the end of last year, 2018. So, all in all it's an expensive useless initiative just to waste taxpayers' money. This is is a situation that we can ill-afford, looking at the financial constraints that the country is going through.
