Support vulnerable children with every swing
Promise-Land, an organization dedicated to caring for vulnerable children, is set to host a charity golf fun-raiser on 26 July, at the Walvis Bay Golf Club
Promiseland started in 2009 is a community-focused organization in Walvis Bay, dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged individuals, particularly children, is set to host a charity golf fun-raiser on 26 July, at the Walvis Bay Golf Club.
Michelle Wilson, Trustee highlighted that the aim is to raise funds to run their different feeding projects; soup kitchen, school feeding project, she stated that they solely rely on charity funds “we do not get support from the government, all the funding received goes back to the community, we are solely dependant on the charity funds”.
Furthermore Wilson stated that interested Golfers can participate in a 3-Ball Alliance Scramble Drive, with a shotgun which starts at 12:00. “The entry fee is N$1,800 per team of three, which includes a light lunch and prizes.” mulligans will also be available for N$100, giving players a chance to perfect their game, she added.
Additionally, there are several sponsorship options available for those who wish to give their support to the cause. The main event sponsor can contribute N$10,000, while hole sponsorships are available for N$2,000.
Anyone who is willing to make cash and prize donations are welcomed to help make the event a success.
