The Namibian Agronomic Board (NAB) received an accreditation certificate to the ISO/IEC 17020:2012 Standard from the Southern African Development Community Accreditation Service (SADCAS) in Windhoek last week. It is an internationally recognised standard that specifies requirements for the competence of bodies performing inspection and for the impartiality and consistency of their inspection activities. By obtaining this accreditation, the NAB has demonstrated that its inspection processes meet global standards for quality and reliability. "The NAB's recent accreditation is a testament to its dedication to maintaining high-quality inspection services in Namibia's agronomic and horticultural sectors. This achievement not only enhances the NAB's credibility, but also opens up new avenues for international trade and continuous improvement, ultimately benefitting the entire Namibian crop industry," CEO Dr Fidelis Mwazi said.
