In their pursuit of expansion, Choppies has already employed 840 individuals, with plans to significantly increase this number by between 120 and 140 through in-house training initiatives. Still, Choppies' impact transcends economic metrics. Their commitment to social responsibility is palpable, as evidenced by their support for vulnerable communities in areas where they operate.
According to country manager Deon Bauermeister, their dedication to alleviating hunger takes precedence over other philanthropic endeavours. "I cannot donate to sports or any other cause while I know there are people who have not eaten," he said
