#JustIn: Trustco expects headline loss per share
Trustco Group Holdings expects a headline loss per share (HEPS) of between 5.06c and 45.70c for the six months ended 28 February 2023.
HEPS is a used as a profitability indicator.
In a trading statement today on the Namibian Stock Exchange (NSX), Trustco said the expected headline loss per share represents a decrease of between 77.51% and 97.51% compared to its 2022 restated interim results.
The group anticipates a basic loss per share (LPS) of between 11.57c and 39.19c, a decrease of between 108.38% and 128.38% compared to its earnings per share (EPS) of 138.07c reported in its 2022 restated interim results.
A net asset value (NAV) of between 143c per share and 179c per share is expected, down from the 180c reported in Trustco’s 2022 restated interim results.
Trustco’s primary listing is on the JSE, and it has a secondary listing on the NSX. The group closed at 42c per share this afternoon.
