"Art of Deception" Steals the Show at PSS High School
The Private School Swakopmund (PSS) High School delighted audiences with its theatrical production, ‘Art of Deception’.
Written by a team of creative teachers, the play was designed to highlight the incredible talents of the students, blending light-hearted humour with an engaging mystery.
The storyline centres around the Da Vinci Academy of Art, where a team of detectives, played by the talented Dune McClune and Kai Precht, investigates the theft of the famous Klimt painting, ‘Portrait of a Lady’, which had been on loan to the Academy for its 100th Anniversary. As the mystery unfolds, the audience is taken on a captivating journey through the classrooms and hallways of the school. Each scene brilliantly highlights the students' diverse talents, from art and music to ballet, hip-hop, and media. With a touch of gossip, an ever present Tech Guy and performances by talking paintings, every moment brought something unique to the stage.
The production was a resounding success, with tickets selling out for both evening performances.
