Bunkering opportunities in Walvis Bay

The CMA CGM Rivoli recently anchored in Namibian waters along the Walvis Bay coast before continuing her journey east.

With an overall length of 61.3m and a nominal capacity of a staggering 23 112 TEU’s, she is one of a fleet of 14 such ultra-large container vessels that operate on CMA CGM’s FAL3 service connecting Asia to Northern Europe.

Additionally, the Namibian Ports Authority (Namport) also recently announced that it is facilitating ship-to-ship bunkering operations at the Port of Walvis Bay.

“At Namport, we understand the importance of efficiency and convenience for our valued clients. That's why we're dedicated to providing top-notch services and ensuring smooth operations for vessels in need of bunkering support. Whether you're looking to stock up on provisions, crew change, spare parts delivery within port limits, or require ship-to-ship bunkering operations, Namport is here to assist you every step of the way.
