Kambinda Promotion to host boxing bonanza
Walvis Bay-based Kambinda Boxing Promotion will host the Coastal Boxing Bonanza (Volume 1) on 4 November at the Jan Wilken Indoor Complex.
Kambinda Boxing Promotion's founder and coach, Jose Kambinda, said the event is aimed at providing boxers with a platform to showcase their talent.
"Through this platform, boxers will get to showcase the skills that they have been perfecting all these years. The event will also provide boxers with an opportunity to uplift their status from the amateur level, setting them on a course to be able to engage in national, continental, and global arenas," Kambinda said.
"This also serves as a platform to show the country that we are ready now to be part of the boxing fraternity and we are here to stay," he added.
Exceptional fights on the cards
The bonanza will see about 12 non-title bouts, including boxers from different parts of the country. The event will be headlined by Namibian boxers Margret Nepembe who will face Jonas Lucas and Eriekie Eriekie, who will take on Salom Petrus.
Kambinda said that fans can expect mesmerising bouts and a night of exceptional action.
"Since all our professionals currently have and are driven to maintain their respective unbeaten records, it will be a night where they will put everything on the line. It’s going to be intense, and it’s an evening you don’t want to miss out on," Kambinda emphasised.
He also encouraged investors and sponsors to come on board.
"This is a prime opportunity for sponsors to be a part of history in the making".
