Sternagel overcomes early challenge

If there were still any doubters, Mark Sternagel once again proved his class by winning the King of the Dirt race at Saturday’s ninth race in the Namibian moto-cross series at Gallina.
Dale Davies gave the favourite some stiff opposition during the early rounds, before Sternagel (pictured) took his chance for the win.
In the highlight race to end the day’s proceedings, the King of the Dirt top-ten results were: 1 Mark Sternagel (25 points), 2 Dale Davies (22), 3 Sigi Pack (20), 4 Heiko Stranghoner (19), 5 Rigo Wolf (18), 6 Gero Friederich (17), 7 Olaf Pack (16), 8 Juan de Vos (15), 9 Jarno Metzger (14), 10 Bjorn Kebbel (13).
