Eagles squad off to Scotland

Hanro Badenhorst (right), after playing his first senior cricket for the Richelieu Eagles during the recent home series against Indian state side Punjab, has been included in the national touring squad that left for Scotland on the weekend.
Badenhorst will be one of three youngsters that played in the ICC Under-19 World Cup in South Africa earlier this year, along with Junior Kariata and seam bowler Jack Brassell, who since then have already progressed to be selected for the ICC T20 World Cup in west Indies.
Ruben Trumpelmann and Dylan Leicher will both miss the tour due to knee injuries.
Namibia’s four fixtures of ODI’s, part of the 2024-2027 ICC World Cup League Two series, will be against Scotland (20 July and 26 July) and Oman (18 July and 24 July).
The Namibia touring squad: Gerhard Erasmus (captain), Lohan Louwrens, Malan Kruger, JC Balt, Michael van Lingen, Jan Frylinck, JJ Smit, JP Kotze, Zane Green, Handre Klazinga, Bernard Scholtz, Tangeni Lungameni, Ben Shikongo, Jack Brassell, Junior Kariata, Hanro Badenhorst.
