Speaking to Sport Wrap during their match against Team Apex on Friday evening, 007’s second team captain Gawain Cloete acknowledged a rough start, having lost their first frame of the evening 4-1. However, he noted that it was a good competition, which they eventually won.

“The tables can turn very quickly, as seen with our current 9-6 lead. Team Apex put up a good fight, as they always do whenever we meet,” he said.

In response, Team Apex’s captain Loekie van der Merwe said: “We are hosting 007’s second team and they are really giving us a run for our money. We love having them here nonetheless.”
