Schoolboy teams names for tours to RSA

Ruan Agenbag of Windhoek Gymnasium will lead the Namibia Schools rugby team at the SA Rugby Under-18 Academy Week to be hosted in Johannesburg in the last week of June.

A tough opening match await the Namibians on the first match day (24 June) against the Pumas.

Following final trial matches on Saturday morning, Windhoek Gymnasium’s explosive flank Zack von Wielligh, who also made the 2023 team, was named in the squad, although there will be concern over a knee injury that forced him off the field.

The Namibia Under-16 rugby squad to the Grant Khomo provincial week to be held at Gqeberha during the first week of the June-July holidays will be captained by Pro-Ed Academy lock JJ Fourie. Namibia’s opening match on 17 June is expected to be against SWD.
