Farmer takes reins at NPS

Conrad Farmer was appointed acting principal at Narraville Primary School (NPS) in Walvis Bay for 2023. Farmer, who teaches mathematics for grade 7 learners, has previous stints as acting principal of the school in 2011 and 2018. His most recent appointment at the school with 1661 learners followed after principal Cecilia Nakashole retired at the end of March this year. He completed his matric at De Duine Secondary School in 1989 and did his Higher Education Diploma with mathematics and biology as main subjects at the Bellville College of Education in Cape Town. Farmer started his teaching career at NPS in 1995. He became the head of the school's mathematics and science department in 2000.
