FNB and Momentum Metropolitan join hands for funeral cover

First National Bank and Momentum Metropolitan Namibia have partnered to offer affordable funeral cover to FNB clients, underwritten by Momentum Metropolitan. The two financial institutions said the collaboration will provide immense value to FNB clients in Namibia.The funeral cover will provide cover without the need for medical underwriting, ensuring that FNB clients have access to affordable financial solutions that meet their needs.The institutions have previously established a strategic partnership through FNB&#039;s credit life offering, which is also underwritten by Momentum Metropolitan, making this an additional and not the first collaboration between the two.Serving NamibiansMomentum Metropolitan&#039;s group chief executive officer, Sakaria Nghikembua, said the company will reach more people in Namibia with affordable products because of this. Parents and extended family members can be covered additionally at a premium per life insured. All lives, including the children, will be covered for life.Furthermore, an accidental death benefit is provided to the main life insured and their spouse at no additional cost. This benefit ensures that the family is financially protected in the event of an unexpected accidental death.Easy to sign upFamily funeral cover is available to any citizen or legal permanent resident of Namibia who is a FNB client. The cover can be purchased at an affordable premium.To make accessing the family funeral cover as easy as possible, clients can sign up by sending an SMS with the word &#039;Funeral&#039; to 34778.Clients can access affordable and comprehensive funeral cover telephonically, without the need for complex medical underwriting or an in-person visit to the branch. This process allows clients to quickly and easily acquire cover, ensuring financial security and peace of mind during an otherwise stressful time.
