Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) and Anna’s Kloovenburg, a renowned wine trading company in Namibia, hosted a unique wine tasting event in the Etosha National Park.

According to spokesperson Nelson Ashipala, the landmark collaboration marked a significant milestone for NWR, as it directly brought an unparalleled customer experience to clients within Etosha.

“The exclusive wine tasting event held on 14 and 15 July at the Halali Resort showcased a selection of Africa’s finest wines and champagnes to delight the taste buds of both local and international tourists.”

Ashipala said the event aimed to provide a unique and immersive experience that seamlessly blended the natural beauty of Etosha with the elegance and sophistication of Anna's Kloovenburg's exceptional wine offerings.

He added that guests were treated to a variety of premium wines that were carefully curated by Anna's Kloovenburg, allowing them to savour the exquisite flavours and aromas while enjoying the stunning surroundings of the Halali Resort.

“The event provided an opportunity for visitors to indulge in our rich cultural heritage and explore the diverse range of wines that Africa has to offer.”

Ground-breaking initiative

The collaboration between NWR and Anna's Kloovenburg represents a ground-breaking initiative in the hospitality industry, combining the conservation efforts of NWR with the exceptional quality and expertise of Anna's Kloovenburg select wines, Ashipala said.

This joint endeavour not only enhances the overall visitor experience within Etosha, but also promotes local business and fosters economic growth, he said.

"This collaboration represents a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to provide memorable experiences for our guests while supporting local businesses. We are confident that this event will pave the way for future endeavours and contribute to the growth and success of both NWR and Anna's Kloovenburg select wines."

Anna's Kloovenburg, known for its premium wine selection and expanding presence in local retail shops, expressed enthusiasm over the collaboration and its commitment to showcasing the finest wines from the African continent in NWR resorts throughout the country.

"We are honoured to partner with NWR for this remarkable wine tasting event at Halali," Annaloice Penduka, director of Anna's Kloovenburg, said.
